Nah, they could just go back to a hierarchical menu like they had in Mac OS
9. As you point out, it would be better than the "cool" thing they have in
Panther.

I agree that the menu implementation, while a nice demonstration of what you
can do with the new menus, is not a particularly good implementation for
this.

Much of Mac OS X has always looked kindergarten. You're going to start
objecting now? LOL

It was fine with me, but perhaps they think that with today's icons it
harder to distinguish a tinted icon.

Definitely has some bugs, but CW works fine in it and is faster, so I try to
work in Panther as much as I can.

However, I couldn't empty the trash last time I was in Panther. Guess it's
time for a trip to Radar. ;-)
