How about zero by zero?

I've made every effort to simply not need a splash screen. In these days of gigahertz machines and 10,000 rpm drives it amazes me that apps still take as long to start up as they did 10 years ago!

So, in my apps I now just focus on starting up as fast as possible which sometimes requires some creative solutions, but is well worth it.
