CFPropertyListCreateFromXMLData-giving console log message

Hello everybody,
I am using Code warrior to develop an appication in OS X. When I am
running the application in OS 10.2.6 I am getting a console log message like
this
"CFPropertyListCreateFromXMLData(): plist parse failed; the data is not proper
UTF-8. The file name for this data could be:
Contents/Info.plist --
file://localhost/Volumes/Mac10.1.3/Library/Internet%20Plug-Ins/QuickTime%20Pl
ugin.plugin/
The parser will retry as in 10.1, but the problem should be corrected in the
plist." Application is not affected by this . It is running quite normally.
When I debugged the application I found that this message is logged when I am
calling CFBudleCreate() using a CFURL object. I have created the CFURL using
CFURLCreateWithFileSystemPath(). It occurs in both HFS and UFS volumes. It
looks somewhat strange as I have never called the function mentioned in log
message ie.CFPropertyListCreateFromXMLData().
any idea as to why it is happening so?
