Re: Key Focus Between Carbon & Cocoa Windows

Upon further research I think there's a Carbon focus bug relating to floating windows. For example, if I'm focused on a text control in a document window and click in a text control in a floating window the floating control gets the focus but the document control remains highlighted and the caret continues to blink.

Is that a Carbon floating window or a Cocoa floating window.

It happens when all windows are Carbon but throwing a Cocoa window into the mix seems to aggravate the problem. I suspect a bug in Carbon that is also causing problems in the Carbon/Cocoa glue. If all windows are Carbon the problem will sort itself if you take the focus back to the document window, but the Cocoa glue never seems to recover from missing the original event.
