Re: Arrow key menu item

I must be having a mental block because I can't seem to find the table of virtual keycodes...

One of my long-standing complaints is that there was never a published table that I have been able to find. Instead, there's a collection of low-quality bitmaps of the layouts of early Apple keyboards with keycodes for each key, as published in Inside Macintosh an ice age ago. And now, I can't even find that on Apple's site.

If you search for "Apple keyboard layout" in Google images you'll see a number of thumbnail images of the diagrams I am referring to, with URLs that point to developer.apple.com, but if you click on them you'll get a "page not found" message.

I was able to find this third-party rendition with Google:

<http://www.berkhan.com/basic/manual_7/manual_e/data/chap7-4.htm>

If anybody can find this information on Apple's site, please let me know where it is.

Mr. Anderson, do you hear that sound? That is the sound of immutability. const
