Re: Login Items

Just to clarify, Login Items is a known user preferences item in Jaguar (10.2.x) and has a separate System Preferences entry on the System Preferences window.

It's been renamed to "Startup Item" and it's being housed inside the user preferences item "Account" in System Preferences in Panther.

Regardless of the name change, it will only be activated when the user logged in... either from the Login Window or through auto login checkbox option.

In other word, your item may not be running when the computer has booted.

you can get it directly from email@hidden for the latest and greatest
version that they have available.

Mention "LoginItem API" in the email subject and someone from Apple's
DTS should be in touch with you...
