The one thing you do have to do is to call CFPrefencesAppSynchronize,
to commit changes to disk. You'll probably want to pass
kCFPreferencesCurrentApplication as a parameter.
You may need to have a bundle identifier defined (in you application's
Info.plist or in your plst resource if you're still unbundled cfm), I'm
not sure about that one.
