RE: File/Directory Notifications

Hi Larry,
I am looking for notifications for file operations like
create/update/delete. The files I will be interested in will be decided at
run time depending on user's selection.

The Finder isn't in charge of the file system, and hence it won't be aware
of all changes to it. Exactly what kinds of changes interest you?

Exactly what kinds of changes interest you? How many files are there which
interest you?
