I go to a folder across the network
Hello,_______________________________________________
I have written several times to this group about persistent problems I have listing files by date when accessing a folder across a network. Other people have said that they don't have any such problems. I always thought it might be because I was using the older versions of the Nav functions (ie NavGetFile), but I've updated to the new dialog versions and I still always get the problem. Which is: I go to a folder across the network, list by date, and the files do not list by date. Not only that, but many files appear greyed out that shouldn't be. If I click on the List by Name bar, then back to the List by Date bar, it will usually work.
My question is, is there something that I'm doing wrong? Why do some of you not experience this problem? I've filed a bug with Apple, and they always write back "What application are you experiencing this in?", which tells me it must be something wrong in my application. What could it be?
Thanks very much for any suggestions!
Bob
