Re: Cyrillic Postscript Fonts

Anybody?

Hi!

I have Postscript Type1 font. This font was created for MacCyrillic's
code page ftp://unicode.org/Public/MAPPINGS/VENDORS/APPLE/CYRILLIC.TXT and
has Adobe's glyph names http://partners.adobe.com/asn/tech/type/aglfn13.txt
in the 'POST' resource. I can type russian text using this font under
Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X. But if I look at this font in the program
UnicodeFontInfo http://pixel.recoil.org/cocoa/UnicodeFontInfo_1_5.dmg
I see that certain russian characters are duplicated. For example
"CYRILLIC CAPITAL LETTER BE" exists at two places. First: it is placed
instead of "LATIN CAPITAL LATTER A WITH RING ABOVE" (00Q5). Second:
it is placed at it's own place (0411). What does it mean? You can
see Pictures 1 and 2 and download the font from
http://sexchange:email@hidden archive PlumbYESCYR.sit

Sergey

PS. I can send another cyrillic postscript font without this problem.

PPS. Let me know if there exist more appropriate mail list for
this question.
