While Cronnix is easy to use, I think that Mac admins would gain a
great deal by learning how to use cron the traditional way as well.
We have a crontab basics article on the site.
Also that example uses ditto which is a very handy tool, but not the
most efficient here since it copies everything. For local syncing I
install pysnc. It respects forked files and only copies the files
that have changed since the last backup.
