Re: Change IP Command in 10.2?



You got me wondering, so I poked around:
it looks like you can fiddle with the setttings in 
/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/preferences.plist;  it's
editable by a text tool in CLI mode.

i found that if I changed my IP in the System Preferences, that the
change would show up in that file.  for it to work the other way might
take a restart.

I suppose that file is documented somewhere on Apple's Dev site, which
would help to point out the options.
