We run Kid Pix 4 network version at our school without saving problems
other than having to direct the children to save to their "Pictures"
folder instead of the KP4 default which is "My Pictures." I created a
an automount sharepoint which mounts when the user logs in and in that
sharepoint I installed the Network portion of KP4. Then, as per
instructions, I installed the Client version on a client computer and
pointed the program to the Network portion in the automount sharepoint.
I still have issues with KP4 log in with all the names I have to
continually delete, and we have to train our primaries to select their
"Pictures" folder. Other than that, KP4 is working well.
Hope this helps
Don

Hi Janice
I was/am having the same issues with saving -- so I loaded the
standalone
version on each computer (at the suggestion of a KP tech support
person) --
but it does the same thing -- still saves to the HD of each computer
-- if
you come up with a viable solution, let me know! I'm with you in that I
wouldn't like to lose the use of the stamps.
Thanks
Lynne
