Re: iBook refusing login

I assume you checked the basics:
- has access to your network with a correct IP (no conflicts), get to a website/ping login server thru admin
- checked your netinfo settings (have seen these change on their own)
- caps lock on the password
- refresh workgroup preferences and rebooted

G4 iBook/256/10.3.9/using Airport Extreme

I have one iBook which refuses to allow a login to the server and yet will cheerfully mount the home directory of the same user manually through Go to server once I log in using a local account. The same thing happens whether I'm using Airport or Ethernet connections. Any ideas as to the cause of this?

TIA for any help.

Cheers,
Peter
