Thread-topic: Some users login and get local admin rights
What we do, which I am not sure if the AD plug-in supports ( I have been told it does) is make our users the Manager of that Computer account in AD.......We have normal groups set up for our tech staff, they get admin rights when logging in...however a single teacher needed admin rights on their laptop can be accomplished this way. If you get the properties of the computer account in AD, you see a MANAGED BY tab....add the user to that tab.
This all works well with ADmitMac (there is an option in the mappings tab to allow it).
