I have a Principal and her assistant who are members of an Open Directory group with admin privileges. They both utilize a shared folder that only they can access. The folder grants “read and write” privileges to their group. When my principal creates a new document and saves it to the folder, her assistant gets a read-only status when she opens the document to edit it. Make sure the sharepoint's "Inherit Permissions" box is checked in the Sharing area of Workgroup Manager. Any file created after that point will have the same permissions as the folder it is written to. -Tyler Loch Jacobs High School Algonquin IL |
