Group shares changing to Nobody

I have a very strange issue with one of my servers that inexplicably
comes up every now and then. For no apparent reason, any one
(and sometimes more) of my group shares will have the workgroup
associated with it changed/set to "Nobody", and the share is
inaccessible to members of the group. Changing it back resolves
the issue although I am baffled as to why this occurs at all.

I'm running Mac OS X Server (10.3.8) but this occurred even prior
to upgrading. Presently the only services running are AFP, Open Directory
and basic Windows services. All clients are 10.3.8 iMacs which
access the server for their network home directories and workgroup
management.

Two other servers that I run (also 10.3.8) have not showed this
type of behaviour. FSCK and permissions repair have be done.

Has anyone else seen or experienced this before? Any ideas
on where to start looking? I'll be rebuilding the server once the
school semester is over but I'd like to get through the last 3 weeks
problem free if possible...

TIA,
Patrick
