Howdy folks we are looking to abandon the use of Entourage and was

Entourage v.x starts to act buggy as the db approaches 2GB and they

on Apple Mail. Any real world advice or docs that I am missing?
Actually, the limit in v.X is 4GB if you apply all the service packs.
The limit in 2004 is 2^63 bytes or one million objects, whichever
comes
first.

Actually it's a limit of 2 million objects. Since each mail or news
item takes up two slots the workable limit is ~ 1 million user items.
It's supposed to give a warning as you approach the limit.
