Re: Laptops not connecting

Doug,,

I have been fighting similar problems. I have 2 sets of ibooks in which I have
tried to troubleshoot. I found that even a static IP did not help. I tried 2 different
access points and set the ibooks to use the specific open access points.
I reformatted, zapped pramÂ…anything I can think of. I have tried changing
startup parameters The only thing I can find is while doing a ping test, the
laptops do not connect to the network until you log in as admin(local Account).
The same laptops work fine a a wired network. I sent this to Apple a month ago
and have heard no reply. I know this post is no help except to say you are not
alone and please send on anything you find out.
Thanks
Harvey
