I think someone asked about this "99" issue recently. My tip for setting a
local home directory seemed to fix it. However, I'm not sure if this does
what you need for mobile users who use multiple computers, because their
data won't travel with them.
In WGM, go to the user's Home tab. Select "/Users" if it appears in the
list. If not, click the + button. In the bottom text entry field, enter
/Users/username (with appropriate username). Click OK.
That user will now use/create a local home directory on any machine where he
logs in. Plus, /Users will now appear in the Home tab so it's easy to do
this in the future.
