We are in the process of importing students into multiple
elementaries. Running 10.3.9 servers. We use Passenger to create
the import files for Workgroup Manager. This year we decided to
not specify the range for the user id's through Passenger. When
importing into Workgroup Manager the ID assignment seems very
random, but worse yet the numbers are getting quite large. The
last one created was 9-digits long!
Does anyone know if this will someday present a problem? Now would
be the time to delete and recreate, before the users get on,
although it would mean repeating hours of work.
I've had it become a problem, where the values get so large that they
wrap around.
