We have had the problem in the past and corrected it by physically
removing the offending computer by turning on the Inspector and
choosing the computer from the pop-up menu. Worked fine.

I recently re-installed Panther Server on a dual 1.8ghz G5. I am
managing about 160 OS9 iMacs (with Mac Manager) and 16 new Tiger eMacs
(Workgroup Manager) in one of my schools.
All machines are fully patched.

When I try to add some of the eMacs to a Computer List in Workgroup
Manager I get the error

or another list"
I seem to remember this was an issue a while back but am unable to
find the solution in previous list emails. Is there a way to clear out
a cache somewhere on the server? I looked in the inspector but only
found records for the ones that are working properly.
Also my Managed Dock prefs aren't working for the computer list I
created, when I log in as a user all I get is a bunch of question
marks on the dock - is it looking for the apps on the computer I
created them on? It comes up with an AFP error eventually. How do I
get the eMacs to look locally for the apps?
