Re: Active Directory Connection



Hi,

I found a solution that someone posted that did the trick.  For me, when a
machine normally loses a connection, I can just rebind it and that will do
the trick.  In the last few cases, it wouldn't even accept my name and
password and would immediately give me an error.

To get around this, I found you need to clear out the settings in
DirectoryService, /library/preferences/directoryservice.  If you remove
ActiveDirectory.plist, ContactsNodeConfig.plist, and
SearchNodeConfig.plist, that will allow you to enter your AD information
again and join the computer to AD.
