Having spent several days around Christmas trying to do this I'd love to see a solution. Under OS 9 you could use:
Anyway, I have a question regarding Classic and the default printer it chooses. How do I set Classic to print to whatever printer is currently registered in the Native Environment as default?
I found a thread on the list, but was confused about exactly what the solution was.... People were mentioning AppleScripts and other things, but never mentioned *how* to use AppleScript to accomplish this.
tell application "Desktop Printer Manager" set the default printer to desktop printer "My favourite printer" end tell
