RE: ~/Library/Fonts disabled

I had this same problem. This was what got me into my network mess. I tried to update from 10.3.1 on my clients to 10.3.4 so as to get Font Book working with networked home folders.
Supposedly, 10.3.7/8 fixed all this. I cannot give you a good answer but I have a similar problem. in our lab, I have a few machines at 10.3.7 and users can access their fonts. But only some users. I've found that some users can access their fonts from certain machines while others can't. These others, However, are able to access their own font folders depending upon which computer they log in from.

Hi folks,

Just noticed that none of our users ~/Library/Fonts folders function.
What I mean by this is that any fonts they install into these folders
are not available to the system and the "User" collection is disabled
in Font Book and will not re-enable.

Am I missing some really simple setting on the server to allow people
to use their own fonts? I'm sure this used to work.

10.3.6 server, 10.3.8 clients, AFP homes - nothing weird about the
setup.

Thanks,

-geoff
