Thxs for the email. I don't think it is iTunes as the kids aren't allowed on it during class time. We only have 2 labs with 20 clients each so it's not a massive number - although if we launch AppleWorks it can slow things down considerably - to do with clippings I suspect! Also there is the Safari cache and IE cache that might need loaded up. (I'm working on this.)
This is more significant than that. If I look at the throughput over the last week there have been 3 times when it has spiked way higher! On two occassions it reached 2.35Mb/sec and today it went as high as 7.04Mb/sec which caused a connection failure and the kids lost their work. (At least I think that this was what caused it!)
