You probably already figured this out, but i'm a little slow.
So If your like me, here's how to view PDF in Safari instead of always having them download.
This is just the reverse of: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=93749
1. Signed in as Sys admin, navigate to Applications and launch the Quicktime player app.
2. With Quicktime launched go to Quicktime Player>preferences>Quicktime preferences
3. Click on the Plug-in tab.
4. Click on MIME settings.
5. Click on the triangle next to 'Images-Still images files'
6. Put a Check in the box next to PDF
7. Close and quit Quicktime.
You should now view PDF files in the browser instead of downloading them.
