Just wondering if anyone else is having printing issues with 10.3.7 and 10.3.8? It started about a week ago and I really haven't done any updates.....I pushed out the new security update and 10.3.8 on Saturday hoping it would fix this issue but no luck so far.
Our Setup:
Services for Unix is installed on a Windows 2003 server and the OS X clients bind by DNS name to the server and the name of the Queue via LPR. Been working great for months...the reason of this setup is having one print server for all computers and Windows easily lets have a pool of printers and a COVER/BANNER page showing the users username who printed.
Didn't have any issues until about 10.3.7 came out....now some jobs get stuck in the queue and don't wanna delete. I eventually get it to delete and then things seem ok again. Just random people are having problems with different kinds of files. The other day it was Quark files and today seemed like Word 2004 files.
I ran Disk Utility and the latest 10.3.x Printer Setup Repair Utility off the net and everything is reading fine so I'm not sure what the issue is.
I cleared the old spool documents and tmp but still seems to be acting up every now and then.
Anyone else having this issue?
