Thread-topic: Auto-mounting a shared folder off of a Windows server

We've had few problems with getting Windows home directories to mount from
our Windows server for our Mac student users. The home directories for the
students are defined in Active Directory Users & Computers, under the "Local
path" field in the Profile tab. However, through a scripting system, the
students also get a shared folder mapped automatically any time they log in
on Windows. Is there any possible way to automate this for our 10.3.9
clients, or are they all going to have to learn how to do it manually?
