RE: 10.4.3 Disk Utility



Cameron,

SMART says its a good drive.  But I have seen this on 3 different computers with known good hard drives.

I actually just took a new HD, low level formatted it and installed 10.4 on it and upgraded with the combo upgrade to 10.4.3 and rebooted back into single user mode and ran /sbin/fsck -fy / again and it comes up with the same error.

I think its a bug in 10.4.3

But Apple does have an kbase article saying you may get eratic errors when doing a /sbin/fsck -fy / if you have journaling turned on.  THis is the first time I have seen it though.

What is the current SMART health of the drive?
