Yeah, see...that's the WEIRD THING. When setting up the printer
"from scratch" you get that dialog that asks you about "options" for
the printer. Tray 1 is one such option. But even if I leave it
UNCHECKED it still does this.
I will try Justin's suggestion in the morning.

Are those trays optional? Often you have to Show Info on a printer
and and make changes on the the Installable Options page. Otherwise
the Mac won't recognize that those trays are there. Sometimes it
seems like these settings are auto-detected when adding a printer,
but often not.
