On a netbooted machine, it's a pain to have to re-pair the keyboard and the mouse every time you reboot the machine. I'd like to make a link back to some area on the local hard disk so that this information would no be volatile. When you pair devices the information is stored the root user's Library Preferences (/var/root/Library/Preferences). The file that get's modified when you pair the device is /var/root/Library/Preferences/blued.plist. I believe it's the same for both 10.3.x and 10.4.x. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Quade Boman | email@hidden Systems Administrator | Beaverton School District ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ |
