| Couple things that look out of place in the system.log I see: Hundreds of the following (which could be the culprit here) almost each second until the program dies: /Applications/Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Standard/Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Standard.app/Contents/MacOS/Acrobat: Invalid color: colored pattern specified with uncolored pattern colorspace. following this the airport wend down, and we start seeing: launchd: Server 0 in bootstrap 1103 uid 0: "/usr/sbin/lookupd" [257]: exited abnormally: Hangup launchd: Server 3e27 in bootstrap 1103 uid 0: "/usr/sbin/lookupd" [428]: exited abnormally: Hangup mDNSResponder: mDNSPlatformSendUDP sendto failed to send packet on InterfaceID 018811800 en1/6 to FF02:0000:0000:0000:0000:0000:0000:00FB:5353 skt 21 error -1 errno 49 (Can't assign requested address) 3993371472 restarting and not opening acrobat produced two notices: SecKeychainFindGenericPassword err=-25308 ( =0xffff9d24,secErrStr=Usr interaction is not allowed. ) (current=BHCA) launchd: Server 0 in bootstrap 1103 uid 0: "/usr/sbin/lookupd"[56]: exited abnormally: Hangup launchd: Server 4207 in bootstrap 1103 uid 0: "/usr/sbin/lookupd"[111]: exited abnormally: Hangup relaunching acrobat shows similar errors, but not a large amount of CPU usage again. I have tried safe mode yet -- I have tried other users with similar issues, excluding the root user. Should I be looking in another log? What do logs say ? What happens in safe mode ? With another user ? Even at login window (Activate ssh and connect from another machine) ? -- Many buy an Apple T-shirt... Nobody wears a Microsoft one. (©Me) |
