Can't create home folders in correct place!

Hi all,

I'm having trouble with Workgroup Manager in that it seems to be creating user's home folders wherever it wants to.  When I get to the "home" tab of my test staff user (name Staff_Test, shortname teststaf), I click on the afp://staff.myserver.us/staff share, and here were the defaults:

-----
Share Point URL:
afp://staff.myserver.us/staff

Path:
Staff_Test

Home:
/Network/Servers/staff/staff/Staff_Test
-----

I adjust appropriately:

-----
Share Point URL:
afp://staff.myserver.us/staff/ (had to add trailing slash)

Path:
T/Staff_Test (added first letter of last name plus slash)

Home:
/Network/Servers/staff.myserver.us/Volumes/raid/staff/T/Staff_Test (correct path to RAID drive)
-----

I typed in a quota, clicked Create Home Now, clicked Save.  But the folder gets created at:

/Network/Servers/staff.myserver.us/Volumes/raid/staff/Staff_Test.  It leaves out the "/T/" between "staff" and "Staff_Test" even though I specified the whole correct path!!!

YAAARGGGH!  This is maddening.  I understand there are some bugs in Workgroup Manager but I'm not sure if I can somehow adjust this mount point in inspector or what the deal is to make this right.  Any suggestions?

Brian
