Sorry for the cross posting, but we are having problems with the
KB885250 patch that NOW comes PRE installed on Windows XP. That patch
has been bantered around on this list, I think, so hoping you can help.
We are trying to make sure that a Windows XP computer can login to a mac
os 9.2.1 server. The "hotfix" that Microsoft sent to fix this problem
didn't work (as if we thought that it would). Dell's solution is to
wipe the computer install windows with service pack 1 and then use our
original service pack to that does NOT have KB885250 imbedded.
Anyone have a work around so that this computer will access our grades
on the mac server.
