I use a FileMaker database that I designed. It's probably not as
fully featured as some of the commercial products, but it does what
I need.
Thank you Paul, and everybody who responded here and off-list. It
seems most people use either their library systems or made one. I
can't use the first one because it doesn't run on macs so I guess
I'll have to make one in php.
