Using Workgroup Manager, I have the computers the two Mac labs I manage in
two lists (Lab1 and Lab2 for simplicity's sake here). And they have,
supposedly, an ALWAYS managed preference to go to MY G5 server, at its IP
address on port 8088 (all set up in Server Admin) to get their software
updates. I thought I'd try it, with the new Quicktime 7.0.2 update released
this week, but lo and behold, they're still going to apple.com to get
updates! Am I missing a setting somewhere?
