The last time I had problems like this I was having intermittent
problems with my DNS server. The whole login process is really
dependant on it. I'd start with making sure your forward and reverse
lookups are intact on the server and make sure there's no connection
issues.

Hi,
Not sure if this was discussed recently but ... 10.4.2 server with LDAP.
Clients 10.3.9 randomly hang on login. There is no repeatable pattern,
different computers and different students. At least I can delete them
in Server Admin now but the number of times this happens seems to be on
the increase?
