Our new PM G5’s where shipped to us with 10.4.1
Tiger….but we use 10.3.9 at the school, the problem I’m having is that when we take the machine back to
10.3.9 it will not let you burn to DVD-R/DVD+R or any other blank media. It then ejects the disc and gives you a message
saying that the drive is not supported. I called Apple about this and they say its because the firmware in the drive was shipped
to work with tiger only. My question is, is there any way to replace the firmware
