Re: How to disable Adobe Version Cue

Hi James,

i wish this would be true. I deactivated Version Cue with System Preferences, but the symbol still appears in the menubar of every user. It has a red cross to tell me, that its deactivated ( i already know that...), but i dont want to see it at all in my menubar!

Hi Jan,

It's in System Preferences - it creates itself a prefpane.

Hello,

i am just experimenting with Adobe CS2, because we want to use it in our labs in a managed environment with network homes. I have learned that CS2 needs several folders to be world writable:

One thing is still very annoying. I tried to disable Version Cue, because it makes no sense for the student users. It now appears in the menubar of every user with a red cross telling that it is not working, but i want it not to appear at all. I have not found out how.
Any idea?
