Hi James,
i wish this would be true. I deactivated Version Cue with System
Preferences, but the symbol still appears in the menubar of every
user. It has a red cross to tell me, that its deactivated ( i
already know that...), but i dont want to see it at all in my menubar!
I don't know if it's a system-wide or user preference, but in the
same place you turned off Version Cue there's an option to show its
status in the menu bar.
Did you bother searching Adobe's support site? I immediately found an
article with manual removal instructions. However, right at the top
it mentions that there's an uninstaller, which is presumably on the
CS disks. http://www.adobe.com/support/techdocs/330060.html
