In OS 10.3 there was a .hidden file that made sure that the Finder
wouldnt show directories that people have no business with (like etc
and var). Maybe you can use that file to hide your sharepoint aswell?
Has anybody tried this before?

Hi,
There has been some discussion about hiding share points that
require read-write access and depending on individual set up this
seems possible if a seperate group is created for the specific app
in question.
But could it be as simple as using Terminal and placing a period at
the front of the file name for the share point? I don't have the
detailed knowledge or the courage to test this out.
Many thxs in advance for any info.
