Thread-topic: Portable home directory sync problem

Hi all,
I'm having a problem getting syncing to work correctly with portable home
directories.
Server 10.4.4
Client 10.4.4
The server is the production OD/Workgroup Manager/Macintosh Manager server.
Everything works fine with network home directories.
I want to begin use OSX with Wireless laptops and know that I need to use
Portable Home Directories for it to work well.
I've setup a computer workgroup with Portable Home Directories. I have it
set to sync at log in and log out.
When I log into the laptop my documents folder syncs properly every time. It
doesn't sync at log out and it doesn't sync if I click the little "house" at
the top of the screen. I keep looking for a separate "log out sync" button
to click, but everything seems to be set at the log in/log out screen.
There must be something obvious I'm missing. If it would sync correctly at
log out I'd be able to put this into service.
Anyone have any ideas?
