I have this problem when the kids are using laptops, logout and close
the lids before they are logged out. Is it possible they are not
allowing a complete logout prior to shutting off a machine?
I then have to go to AFP and disconnect.
I also am not quite sure what I am seeing under the aft window for
connections. Most of the time I have 2 grey entries that are the same
and I have to delete both of them.
I wonder if anyone can explain what one sees when looking at the AFP
connection window. I can find no documentation that explains why the
entries go from Black (which probably means a connection) to light grey
(which means???)
Thanks.

I have been having more than the usual number of students tell me when
he/she logs in it says they are already logged in. I know how to
disconnect them via AFP in Server Admin, but am concerned it's
happening
so often. I don't want to give simultaneous log ins. Is there some
setting I should be looking at? It's not the same student, and seems
to
happen once or twice a day and we only have 50-60 kids per day logging
in.
This is an increase, but nothing has changed in our settings. Server
is
10.3.9 as are clients. Thanks.
