I am trying to setup a streaming server so I can have my students' imovies on the web so their families can look at them. Here is what I have:

Lab of Emacs (panther)
G5 server running os Server 10.3.9 ( this server is only for authentication and Home user folders) It has a Static IP of 10.0.0.101.
G4 server running 10.1.4 Server software. (This server is used only for e-mail) It is on this server that I want to put my students' movies since it is not taxed a whole lot. Its IP is 10.0.0.102.
Another G4 server running OS 9.2.2 Appleshare server software. This is the server where all of my webpages are located.

I have a sonic wall. I have a statice IP address given to me by RoadRunner. My ip is 24.93.210.9 and the name is smscanton.org

I have sonic wall setup so when someone sends a request for my school webpage it is sent to the ip 10.0.100, which is the G4 server running 9.2.2.

I have a test movie in the quicktime streaming folder (subfolder: movies). I have QTSS turned on and configured properly .. I think. (was not real sure about the port number 80 whether it should be on or off.

I have an absolute link on a webpage on my webserver something like: http://10.0.0.102/library/quicktimestreaming/moives/testmov.mov. (Remember that 10.0.0.102 is my g4 mailserver running os 10.1.4 software.

When I launch a browser and click on the link I get "10.0.0.102 server not found" error.

I guess I am not understanding how one sever can communicate with another. I thought that the IP would just be found automatically.

What do I need to do this or can you point me to some reading that will assist.

Thanks.
