for internal USB cameras. It's not perfect since it yields an error, but it should do for you.

Apple really needs an account preference to disable either just the built-in iSight or all webcams.


Agreed.  I recall removing:


/System/Library/Extensions/IOUSBFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/ AppleUSBVideoSupport.kext



to disable the built in camera, and i don't think i saw any errors.
