Re: Naming scheme



Jay,

I set up automounting for a group of computers (anyone using the computers
get a specific share mounted). You can use this to set it up for a user, a
group of users, or a group of computers. To do this I use Workgroup Manager
to manage the "Login Items" for the group. I set it to mount an afp URL.

You should take a closer look at this page:
http://www.apple.com/server/documentation/

I would read through "Open Directory Administration" and "User Management"

These documents should have all of the information you need for this kind of
thing.
