Tiger, List of Users and Linksys Switches[Scanned]

Title: Tiger, List of Users and Linksys Switches
All -

Like many schools, I have classrooms where the amount of computers in the room exceeds the number of drops.  To solve this problem until more drops can be added, I have been using Linksys(Cisco) 5 port 10/100 MB Switches in the rooms.  Since upgrading these client machines to Tiger, I am having problems seeing my list of users (WGM).  When I turn on the computers (eMacs), they boot into a regular login screen.  If I login as the local admin and log back out, the list of users appears but when I reboot it is gone.  I did not have this problem before upgrading the clients to Tiger (server has always been running Tiger) and am wondering if any of you know a fix for this issue.

Thanks in advance.
