We have a not-quite-building-wide network of HP 802.11g access points
throughout our building. Most of them all operate under one SSID (we'll call
it "Building"), and two specific ones are for one lab each (we'll call them
"Lab101" and "Lab102"). They're only using 128-bit WEP at the moment (I have
no idea if this will get upgraded or not anytime soon). But if one of the
keys gets entered in Internet Connect incorrectly (WPA Personal was selected
instead of WEP), how do I get rid of this setting to re-enter it? What I
noticed is that the computer would connect, but would get a 169.254.x.x
address. Under Keychain Access the key was listed as WPA and I could delete
it, but I could not replace the hex string. Any ideas?
