I have 10.5.1 clients bound to our 10.4.11 OD Master. The plan is to
use mobile accounts in that combination (at least until next school
year), as the new Macbooks don't run Tiger any longer.
When I try to login a mobile account, login window just shakes and
refuses to log in. Checking with a local admin I can see (using 'id'
command) that the user is found by the OD services and can also
authenticate using su <username> and the password. So the OD
connection seems okay.
Is it possible that Leopard clients are not fully compatible with
Tiger Server?
